To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
- a book with “love” in the title
So I honestly really liked this book. It’s definitely got some cliches but it’s still cute and the main character, Lara Jean, is insanely relatable! If you have ever watched the movie on Netflix, I can vouch that it is fairly accurate. It follows the book really well for a long while, the end is a bit different and their are some details that are way different but it’s still a really good adaptation of this book.
Overall, I thought the book was a pretty easy read, the chapters are not that long at all. It didn’t feel like it was stopping and jumping to me either which some books with short chapters can feel like. The characters interactions were a bit cliche sometimes but they were extremely relatable, every single one of them. It also provided a good laugh and a great family unit. I think it’s a sweet book and love it. Consider this post my love letter to this book. -Holly 🦊
